I got my M6500 about 2 yrs ago, from the first day I brough an additional HD (the hitachi) and 4GB more of RAM from Ebay. Since then I didn't have a single problem.
Right now I'm getting an annoying problem, no errors, no blue screen. The only way to note the problem is when listening music (itunes), playing a video (youtube, WMP) or playing a videgame (WoW). The problem is like "slow motion effect" for 1-3 seconds then it start playing normally, this occur randomly but occurs about 4-5 times during 1 hour.
I have run the diagnostic test from Dell and all appear to be normal (express and memory test). I update the BIOS, the video drivers, even format the laptop. But the problem still persist.
I still have warranty, but since it is the basic one. I have to personally test each of my 3 memory DIMMS alone and see if there is a problem.
Any ideas what might be causing this annoying problem?
