say it ain't so--- i72640m in my new lenovo beat by dual x5365s?

Could this possibly be correct? Just got my lenovo t420s w/ ssd, 6 gigs ram, and i72640m. Ran windows experience index, and processor/memory scores came in at 6.9.
On my 5+ year old desktop w/ dual xeon x5365 (3.0ghz) and 12 gigs FBDIMM ram, I'm getting 7.7 processor/ram scores.

Not that I'm complaining, the laptop runs awesome, but just curious as to why the discrepnacy. I ran the index on my laptop with power features at full performance and full overclock . shouldn't the i7 beat the 5365, even though I'm running a dual setup?

According to the Passmark CPU benchmark test, your previous dual-CPU setup is indeed more powerful than your current i7. This might be a result of multiple processors being superior to multiple cores or desktop processors being generally more powerful than mobile processors.
