lenovo y450 pluged in not charging.

hi guys, this pluged in not charging problem started when i was playing fifa 2012 on battery. the laptop shut down itself and i  did the normal thing of pluging in and leaving it to charge for over 3hrs. i thought this would do fine but when i booted after 4hrs the battery icon was saying "pluged in not charging". since then life has not been easy because i am a software engineering student and i need this laptop in class. i have read alot of forums about this problem but non seems to work out for me yet. some said that the battery fuse has blown out, but did not suggest a fix. my laptop is out of warrant  and in my country lenovo has no agents and their laptops are very had to find on the market so far this is what i have tried out;

1.carried out the windows acpi unistall.

2.leaving the battery on charge for over 3 days.

please i really need your helppppp, is their some kind of way i can fix this myself?

thanks...

Try running down the battery again, put it in a freezer for about 10-15 min, remove it from the freezer and leave out to room temp for about 30min - pray.

Try also another battery
