No Network - Studio 1555

Hi...

 

           I've a Dell Studio 1555 that came with the standard wireless mini card ( 1397  Mini Card European ) I've purchased an Intel 533AN_HMW but am having problems getting it to work.

 

           The laptop recognised the card allocating WiFi Link 5300 AGN driver but no networks are identified. mad.gif

 

  •           The 'F2' key doesn't seem to switch the wlan on. 
  •           Ipconfig /all doesn't show the network adaptor.

 

   I'm running win 7 Home Premium 64 bit.

 

      Has any one had similar issue or have this 533 wireless card running in a studio 1555 ?

Have you tried the driver from Intel itself? Letting Windows Zero Config managing your wireless connectivity?
