Our taxes are done and I am spending the spoils...ASUS G74SX-RH71 on order from Amazon..expected in about a week..
The biggest reason I went with the ASUS and not the Acer Aspire 8951G-9641 was having to remove the keyboard which is not a small evolution just to replace memory and I believe the HD..Whereas the ASUS has a large access panel on the bottom to get at all hardware..the only bad thing that I have heard about the ASUS is crappy/weak sound...Both machines pretty much same specs. only real diff, is the Asus has the GeForce GTX 560M and the Acer the GT 555M..the ASUS comes with 12GBs of DDR3 PC-10600 memory with a max of 16GBs and the Acer comes with 8GBs max of 16GBs...Incl taxes and delivery it came out to @$1670.00
