Almost five months later and here I am - still feels like it is a new system and I guess it makes a difference that I use an external keyboard as there is no wear on the palm rest areas.

Even though DOOM3 was alright, I was much more impressed with HL2 on the laptop. The game play seemed smoother and the graphics are awesome.

As an update, my system also suffered the effects of being an early system - video card had to be replaced. Seemed a lot of the earlier machines had similar problems near the same time that resulted in a required RMA. The process was a pain in the ass for me, mostly because I use APO (USPS) for my mailing. UPS is not an option for me unless I want to pay import taxes. However, Hypersonic hooked it up and since I have had it (since Sept), it has been doing quite well.

In any case, the system is still alive and kicking. I just came from spending a lovely three weeks in Grafenwoehr, Germany - if you are Army and been to Germany, you know what I am talking about - and I spent a lot of time showing off the system. Continues to amaze folks the amount of power under this hood.

Now.... lets see what this EX7 looks like.
