When I start the mission on Delta Force Black Hawk Down the computer reboots half way to loading the mission.

Anyone run into something similar?

Ok tell me...

what drivers are you using.

What other games have you played on the system.

How does the laptop perform otherwise and with other games.

Is this the full version of the game or a demo?
If it is a demo please post the link

what OS, Direct X are you using??

I did a little research into this last night. I disabled Windows XP automatically restarting every time there is an error.

Now I come up with the BSOD, with the error Page Fault in Non Paged Area. It seems this error could mean many things. I initally thought it was from my new stick of memory, but I removed it and the error is still there.

I am using Directx 8.1, Windows XP Home, and the game is a full version. I have not had any other issues with other games up to this point. I'm thinking maybe it's a problem of the game.

My ATI drivers are 6.13.10.6178

Drivers

I installed the newest drivers from the ATI site and that solved the problem.

Thanks for the help.

huh?

Can you do a write-up on how you installed the latest drivers? I have given members some instructions but i want to know if there is an easier way...

You can also do the DX9.0a install - I found my system a little faster with that...and the artifacts that were there with the dX 8.0 are not there anymore...

You know, 80% of the time problems are video drivers, the other 20% are usually Audio...
