I currently have an Asus G60VX (main), Acer Aspire 5670 (backup) and an iPad.
I notice that when viewing youtube clips sometimes the buffer just stops to the point of timing out.
I've run speakeasy on all 3. On the Asus, one time, it peaked at 5Mbps then started to slowly move down to the 3's. Other times it would spike to 10 or 18. This morning, it is consistently at 35. I'm on Comcast btw. I tested my Acer this morning as well and it is holding steady at around 5-6 but my guess is the wireless adapter is slower in that laptop. The weird thing is that when my Asus was hitting 5-6Mbps, I tested my iPad using the speakeasy app and it was consistently in the low 20's. At first I was thinking it was a virus but now can't be sure. Is there a series of things I can check?
Thanks for any help.
