Can't be another faulty DC Adaptor???????

Hey all, i was wondering could you help me with a probolem i have with my Acer aspire 5920g laptop.

Acouple of months back i noticed my laptop would stop charging with the slightest movements or pull on the ac adapor. I thought it was a short in the ac adaptor, so i used my mums with it being the same outcome.Than it got worse where i had to tilt the screen backwards for it to charge, now it dont charge whatever i do, tilt screen, move ac adaptor up down circle motion.

I thought it was just a faulty dc power jack, but was still confused on why tilting the screen used to get it to charge sometimes. So anyway i went along and ordered a dc power jack with the harness and socket which was exactly the same as the one in the laptop. So i took the laptop apart yesterday and found that on my old adaptors harness wire was slightly damage where the electrical tape was showing bare aluminium wire, possible culprit the crome pipe on the gfx card gets really hot which it was next to. So i thought yes that would of been the problem. So i changed the dc adaptor, and it charges now, but with the same exact problem!! but not as bad as before but its only going to get worse. What could be the reason for this? Any help much appreciated.

Oh also i opened up the laptop again, and when i tilted the laptop screen none of the wires connected from motherboard to screen moved or were loose or interfered with any other wire. Also the harness on the dc jack isnt loose and did not move when i turned the power cord in the jack slightly where the charge would stop and go. So im lost for words here

Yes the battery fits in fine aswell as the power jack

So the problem is only with the charging, without the battery the notebook works fine with the power adapter, even with moving around?

With the battery in or out when i move or turn the cable in the jack i lose the charge.

meaning the slightest movement of the ac adaptor when its plugged into my laptop stops it from charging.

I need to understand, what would happen if you remove the battery from the notebook and just using the power adaptor alone. Then, if you move the notebook, would you lose the power to the notebook causing it to shut off?
