Hi

Using W7Pro 64bit here.

I just installed fresh. the official dell driver is old, dated 9/20/2010 version "8.763-100810a-104118C-Dell, A01"

We know they dont keep updating software. Are there any other options for newer catalyst drivers for this machine?

Thanks.

If there is no issue with current driver, keep it. Graphic driver for notebook is not meant to be updated unless manufacturers feel that there is some impact in performance.

i guess that makes sense, was just thinking better performance or features with much newer catalyst.

It is, but it needs tweaking to work together with current notebook devices (mainly chipset driver). And notebook manufacturers are the only ones that can handle it correctly
