Looking for budget notebook - under $600

I'm looking to replace my three year old Dell Inspiron 1545. I'd like to spend no more than $600. So far, the best deal I've found is this:

Not sure about better, but manufacturers are offering discount left and right. Check out Sony, Lenovo and Dell sites for offers
