Want to buy a Laptop, Need you help..

Hi,
I've to buy a mid range budget laptop for my small works, Web Surfing, Office and Productivity Software, Listening Music, Computer Programming, Video Chat and Conference, Movie Streaming and Viewing...

I searched through net and found these two:

Dell Vostro 3550 2nd Gen Ci3/ 2GB/ 320GB

Dell Vostro 1550 2nd Gen Ci5/ 2GB/ 320GB

I'd like to know which is best one in performance, reliability and power.

How much are you looking at paying for these 2 models? Do you have a brand preference?

In the "deals, deals" HP offers a very good system for quite a good price. Take a look at that since the specs seem to be better than what you would have in these 2 Dell models.

And no, I don't work for HP laugh4.gif

If you forced to choose among the two choose the faster processor (i5). But honestly i can't find something special about the two.

 

These are excellent choices (if you are not Dell Freak) sort cheaper first:

  1. ASUS A53U-ES21 (AMD DualCore E450) around $418
  2. HP g6-1d60us (AMD DualCore A4-3305M) around $452
  3. HP dv6-6c10us (AMD QuadCore A6 3420M) around $543
