Acer 2025 looks good, its like a Ferrari but with the Dothan (I think)

Most theives won't care. We just had a break-in in our office and they took every single laptop. Even the 7 year old boat anchor that was in a pile to be repaired.

Have any of you tried upgrading the processor on the ferrari to the AMD 3200+??? i heard its possible and does that post a big processor boost compared to the 2800?

the 2800 is a LV
so it gets decent batt. life

the higher up ones 3200+ etc are all Hv so they probably wont plunk in an HV in a laptop with 8 cells

Hi All,

I haven't had a chance to really read this thread, but saw the title. I am in the US(Phoenix) untill January 2007. i might consider selling my Ferrari 3200 before I go back, as I have something else in mind for work. It is a great machine and i want to see it used by someone else, who perhaps doesn't want to spend a fortune on a new laptop.

I didn't get one of the 'lemons' this machine has worked unfaillingly since i got it. Check my posts. PM me if you are interested, we can go through specs if you are interested.
