Basically shows the Google Calendar icon with today's date. Click it to launch the New Google Calendar App which is downloadable from the Play Store, not the stock calendar app shipped on your phone. Basically your Google Calendar icon should look like this app's icon for it to work.

What's the point? Well instead of your icon always reading "31" it now shows the correct date.

Due to the fickle nature of widgets and home screens we can't be certain it works on all devices but we have tested on quite a few.

The icon on the Nexus 7 is as close as we can get it, we can't make it any higher unfortunately.

NB This app is a widget, it will not appear in your app drawer. To add, go to your widgets and add to the home screen from there.
