I upgrade several components a) Every year, most for the latest and greatest technologies.

Since I replaced all platter drives in my house (9) with SSDs, I consider SSDs a) Extremely important to my work and media centers. Games respond very well to, for their load times into matches before other users get in.

a) Prefer to build my own - For the most part, it's cheaper and upgradable.

2) How often do you replace or upgrade your PC?
d) 2 – 3 years - At least the main components, typically minor upgrades keep it reasonably up to date.

3) How important do you feel an SSD is to system performance?
a) Extremely important - I used to underestimate the difference having an SSD would make... I have one in my desktop, and I'm pretty sure I'll never build a new PC again without one.

I have a computer set up with RAID 5 and another one set up with a SSD.. the SSD blows it out of the water.
