I would say pretty important but seeing as I have never actually seen or used a computer with a SSD I really have no way to put a worth on it. Now if I could win the contest then I could finally answer this question with some authority HINT HINT!!!! Reading comments I would think it's pretty d#$& important

4) [Canadian residents] What is 120 plus 45 divided by 4 minus 11?

3) How important do you feel an SSD is to system performance?
a - extremely important. Particularly when I'm builiding a "cable cutter" system (set top PC). Also, the fact that SSDs have no moving parts means that they are quiet.

1) Do you prefer to build your own PC’s or buy a branded system?

2) How often do you replace or upgrade your PC?
d) upgrading constantly but replace every 2-3 years

3) How important do you feel an SSD is to system performance?
a) Extremely important, but only if you want more speed, particularly on startup!

4) [Canadian residents] What is 120 plus 45 divided by 4 minus 11?
I'm glad I'm not Canadian today... the question is actually somewhat ambiguous! Specifically is it [(120+45) / 4 ] -11, 120 + (45/4) -11 or perhaps even (120+45) / (4-11)? Good luck with that one, then, eh?
I prefer to buy a branded system. I upgrade or replace usually after 3 or more years. I think having an SSD system is very important. I'm not a Canadian resident.

a) Prefer to build my own
I think knowing the machine inside-out is fantastic when it comes to solving problems. Also, you can design the *exact* machine you want without compromise - no more paying $6000 for Dell to add an extra 2GB of RAM to your machine.

2) How often do you replace or upgrade your PC?
e) 3 years or longer
I haven't built enough PCs to know on average how long I own one for before replacing it, but since I'm not a huge gamer I don't mind waiting 5 years or so to upgrade/replace it. Also, I'm a student on a tight budget so I can't afford to replace components every year.

3) How important do you feel an SSD is to system performance?
a) Extremely important
Having an SSD in my new build has made such a huge difference to system performance. There's no way you can have Photoshop load up in 6 seconds without one, and those saved seconds mean the difference between sitting around waiting for things, and just getting stuff done with minimal frustration.

4) [Canadian residents] What is 120 plus 45 divided by 4 minus 11?
I'm not Canadian so I won't be answering this one!
