I prefer this in order to get the maximum flexibility to upgrade mi PC later on.

2) How often do you replace or upgrade your PC?
d) 2 – 3 years
I used to have a greater time to upgrade my PC, more than 5 years.
Yes, I don't need cutting edge performarnce for programming. Anyway, lately I'm keeping more up to date.

I perfer single component manufacturer dealings to big corporate entities that use proprietary parts.

I am due for an upgrade now, 5.5 years on my current system and only now am I seeing signs of slowing down

b) Pretty important
With current technology, the NEED for an SSD is still pretty light for most people, but it is definitly a performance upgrade

Between work computers, tablets, phones, laptop, desktop, media centers the finances can get spread pretty thin.

Not a necessity, but the nail in the coffin for me was gaming with friends at a LAN party and they were loading in about half the time it took me.

e) 3 years or longer - I used to be a hardcore gamer and then I used to upgrade every 12-18 months, but since I started work I don't have time for gaming and for programming I don't need a state of the art system.

a) Extremely important - my boyfriend installed an Intel 320 on his laptop and he boots in 6 seconds. I want one of those!!!!
