Since I have not used one yet , I do not know how important it could be (especially for music production)

1) a - I build my own
2) a - every year (or less)
3) a - extremely important - it's the most noticeable upgrade, IMO
4) 120+(45/4)-11 = 120.25 (order of operations) OR ((120+45)/4)-11 = 30.25 (verbose)

Another Contest another try...

1. (A) - I Build my own. Always have always will.
2. (D) - Every 2-3 years fully upgraded. - less peripherals, replaced as needed, or desired.
3. (B) - Pretty important - I still haven't tried an SSD, but speed is king on OS Drives - others not so much - yet.

4. I'm not Canadian, so I don't need to know no stupid Mathematics. I'm an American - Ignorant and Proud of it azz.gif!

and and just for proof of concept...

120 + (45/4) - 11 = 120.25
OR
(120 + 45) / (4 - 11) = -23.5714286

Sometimes ignorance is bliss huh.gif

Your results may vary.

1) I prefer to build my own PC. However, my last PC was a custom configured Clevo i7 975 Ext Ed @12gb RAM (laptop) 1tb hd, 160gbSSD.

2) I tend to replace my PC every 2-3 years; but I also use 2 PC at same time-Pri and Sec; home and travel. (Clevo too damn heavy).

3) Extremely Important! I put an Intel 160gb SSD in my Sager 2 years ago and use it as Windows HD. My other hard drives, in RAID0, hold my user profile- thus the Operating System is alone. Nothing- nothing is faster than an SSD. I only wish they had larger than 160/SSD at the time. SSD is vital for OS performance, frees up resources, enhances all access/transfer times. It's just stunning. Soon, SSDs will be faster, larger, and use system resources- cant wait.

Yes please, I want an SSD!
1) Do you prefer to build your own PC’s or buy a branded system?
a) Prefer to build my own
I prefer to build my own desktop, but will buy a branded laptop due to the difficulty in obtaining components.

2) How often do you replace or upgrade your PC?
e) 3 years or longer
I buy premium components, such as Intel, and use them until they no longer meet my needs and can't be babied any longer. My current system has been running great for over 4 years.

3) How important do you feel an SSD is to system performance?
a) Extremely important
SSDs provide a critical increase in system performance by removing the data read/write bottleneck from the storage media. No longer is the fast CPU and RAM held back by a slow hard drive.

4) [Canadian residents] What is 120 plus 45 divided by 4 minus 11?
Not Canadian, 120.25

1) Do you prefer to build your own PC’s or buy a branded system?
a) Prefer to build my own
- build my own and slowly upgrade them over time until end of life or new price-point on next generation justifies replacement and starting over

2) How often do you replace or upgrade your PC?
c) 18 months – 2 years

3) How important do you feel an SSD is to system performance?
c) Not very important
- I am still a hold out SSD... not fully convinced yet.. and can't justify the $/Gbyte yet compared to physical spin drives.
- But maybe things have changed.. have not kept up with SSD technology or benchmarks in the past year

4) [Canadian residents] What is 120 plus 45 divided by 4 minus 11?
Most likely desired/required Answer to qualify for winning prize 1) Following sentence order or operation:
= (120 + 45) / 4 - 11 = 30.25

But for interest sake an alternate Possible Answer 2) Following formal math operator precedence:
= 120 + (45/4) - 11 = 120.25

1) Build or buy?
a) Build absolutely. I get more bang for the buck. I also like modding my case.

2) How often do you replace your PC?
d) 2-3 years...when something major seems to break....

3) How important do you think an SSD is?
a) Extremely important--from my experience on many systems hard drive R/W speed is a key bottleneck, more so than processor speed, so upgrading to a SSD will boost your speeds more than a faster processor will.
