Hi,

Great contest.

1. b

2. e

3. a

Actually, i own an Asus core i7 with a Crucial 128GB SSD i purchased in 2010. A friend purchased another core i7 this year with a 7200rpm hd. Due to my SSD, my computer is still faster than his when i do things that require the hd a lot.

regards

(120 + (45 / 4)) - 11 = 120.25

I put an SSD in my laptop, biggest performance boost I've ever seen from any other HW upgrade. After experiencing it, pretty damn important. HDD should be phased out :P Sandisk even has 95mb/s SD cards!

FFS it's the biggest chance for a bottle neck in a system

1). A. I prefer to build my own desktop PCs. However, I tend to buy branded laptops and the occasional all-in-one desktop..

2). E. Computers I assemble and those that are commercially manufactured must meet high standards for upgradeability and reliability with me because I expect long term use out of my investment.

3). A. Extremely important. No moving parts and faster read/write speeds are essential!

4). I wish I was Canadian. That way I could truly appreciate that bacon of theirs that is really ham! laughing.gif

31.25 Not that i'm canadian but I like to use my brain too.
and it turns out 120+45=165, 165/4=41.25, 41.25-11=30.25, not sure if i just had a brain fart or miss typed cause if I used a calculator 120+45/4-11 would equal 120.25 so i'm not sure but then i'm a brit in the US so its all just academic till I got to inflict it on my littl'en.
