1) B. While I enjoy building my own system, I much prefer the simplified warranty and service perks available on branded systems.

2) E. I have always kept my computers for at least 3 years before replacing, but my recent discovery of the PC gaming scene has probably changed that forever. I'll most likely begin buying every two years or so.

3) A. My opinion is that an SSD is the biggest performance booster available, possibly after a significant memory upgrade.

1)A. Haven't ever bought a prebuilt branded system.

All-in-Ones - buy from manufacturer

I keep making incremental updates, memory, HD, SSD, video cards, etc so all my PC/Mac are 4+ years old.

I just added a SSD to my old Dell E1505 Core Duo laptop and its nearly made it a completely new machine. Best upgrade I've done in decades.
