black screen on acer 4535G

Need some advice and opinions about my acer 4535G. When i turn it on, pilot light lits and and hard disk indicate its reading but screen dont show anything at all. 

It also overheats under. Could it be a dead fan? or a short on the LCD screen?

Tried draining power and starting up, tried using external monitor and even tried for faulty RAM.

Hope somebody can help me fix or point the particular problem in this laptop. Thanks in advance.

I would first try taking it apart and performing a good cleaning with new thermal paste

yup i think its the best idea, i just wish i have something to guide me step by step on which one to unscrew first...like a guide for disassembling it and assembling it back. im not so familiar with its parts too. But im willing to do it if there will be guides or instructions on how to do it..i searched the net and cant find a video or diagram for it.Hope someone can help me.

See the top of the page where it says "Sticky" Threads for the "Acer Notebooks" forum? Thermal paste ... computer shops should have it
