Hi guys,

This forum has saved my sanity before.....hope you can help again!

My laptop is displaying green pixels on black backgrounds white looking ones on other colours, really am not sure where to with it! the following are the laptop details and what i've established so far:

- Laptop Model: HP probook 6550b
- Laptop GPU: Radeon HD 540v

- Issue is apparent on external display also
- have upgraded to latest GPU drivers from HP (dated 2010) to no affect
- have tried latest GPU drivers from AMD (ATI) to no affect
- issue only seems to occur on AC power
- Checked the internet and it seems no one else (on the internet) has this particular problem on this laptop.


Would be very grateful for any suggestions/troubleshooting steps.
