Acer 5560G CrossFire problem

Thread Starter

Hi all,

I've a little proble with se second graphic card of 5560G, Catalyst Control Center tell crossfire is enabled. Another utility Gpuz, tell the same, but AMD System Monito Utility reports that only one graphic card is working, the AMD Radeon HD 6620G (the other is AMD Radeon HD 6470M).

Is there a way to test, decide wich, or see working the second graphica card ?

Any help will be appreciated.

If I understand correctly this "dual" card set up on this Acer model is pretty much the same way as an (integrated) Intel on die plus an extra Nvidia card for performance boost when needed. This could either be activated before boost or working with some sort of utility of performance in demand.

Try running a resource hog app (games) and see if the system would use the dedicated 6470M

Qhn, thank you for the immediate answer.

I've tried Microsoft Flight (believing is an heavy game in terms of graphic), but it seem work with first graphic card only, using it windowed not full screen, for obvious reason: at full screen I can't see the AMD System Monitor activity, but somewhere I've read that crossfire work only with full screen application. This could be true ?
