If you lost the recovery partition and the recovery disks (that one should create when receiving the notebook at the beginning) you can do the following:
. contact ACER to buy a set of the recovery disks
. see if someone with the exact same model to create a set of recovery disks for you
. last but not least and the sure way to restore your system back to the (almost) original is to use an OS installation disk, the one that matches the COA key underneath the notebook, install the OS anew and use drivers and apps from Acer to finish it
