Major Problems with drivers on m18x R1

Alright Lads, this is my first post of many on notebookforums, and well, It's not going to be one of a happy note, anyway this is whats happening,

Earlier today my webcam failed, I spent about 3 hours trying to fix it, installing drivers, disabling, uninstalling, the whole lot, nothing worked AT ALL, and so, I decided, well, my laptop was full of crap anyway and decided to restore with windows7, and now I'm having more problems..

I am unable to get my laptop back to the correct 1920 x 1080 resolution and I believe this is so because of outdated graphics card, Now, to make matters worse, when I go to device manager, It wont even tell me the name of my graphics card let alone allow me to update or install the driver.

Ever since my restore I've had nothing but problems, I've been unable to do anything that requires anything slighty graphical, and well, I'd like to get this fixed, I know you guys are the place to go to for this kind of thing and so, I was wondering if you guys could help me out here.

Thanks,

Marc.

Stupidly, Upon getting the laptop I never thought of making use of AlienRespawn and so have no backups, and so I'm stuck with a laptop that wont sense my other graphics card and instead I am stuck with constant standard VGA graphics adapter.
