Gaming Laptop?? - Pavillion G6

Hey All,

 

Bit of a noob when looking at laptops so can anyone tell me if this will be any good for gaming?

 

HP Pavillion G6-1331sa

 

Got to replace my desktop and trying to see if I can get away with just getting a laptop so I an do work and games on there like BF3?

Specs look good enough for work and play. Then again you haven't told us how hard the work and how extensive the play are wink.gif

Work stuff is simple so not worried about that, will be playing Battlefield 3 and possibly star wars the old republic

You should be able to play these games. How well of an expected game performance is another story altogether. Main problem is notebook graphic card drivers - you are at the mercy of the notebook manufacturers on this, not so flexible as on desktop systems.

If you game quite often, I recommend stayting with a good desktop.
