Good laptops for Study/Work

Thread Starter

Hey,

I am new here and I am also in my senior years of high school. I have had an alienware m17x for about 6 months at school and well... its not really the ideal 'travel' laptop.... weighing in at 6-8kg depending on what im carrying.

I have been on numerous forums and i have decided on 3 laptops that i think would fit my stituation.

These choices are:

  1. Macbook Air 13"
  2. Macbook Pro 15"
  3. Asus Ultrabook

Please leave your thoughts below... Price is not an issue so feel free to contribute any laptop that you think is better.

Thanks

. Are you familiar with Apple OSX and/or are you willing to be frustrated of the non-familiarity for a short time?
. Can your school work be easily managed with Apple OSX?
. If no to the above then go for the ASUS

cheers ...
