D630 blinking cursor when docked

Thread Starter

Hi,

I have a Dell D630 that was just reimaged, it will not boot when it is docked and connected to the side port where there is a video card installed. I tried to boot when there is no video card and it works fine but it wont work when there is a video card. I have tried another D630 in the same dock with the video card and it is working fine. It is only happening when this laptop is docked. What can be the cause? Do you think it is the laptop or bios? I tried deleting the dock profile and also tried disabling the emulation USB like in a previous thread but it didnt resolve my issue. I would appreciate any advice, thanks.

Verifying that the BIOS on both machines is the same first?

cheers ...
