My Acer4736ZG suffered water damage few days ago,need help.

Now,it can only starts with the battery. When I connect the AC power, the charging circuit seems still working, battery level keep still for the whole day. 
But the next day the battery level falls by 1%.
I wonder which circuit has burn down. Will it cost a lot to repair, the warranty has expired.

So I have to compare the repair expense and the cost of replacement for an new notebook.


Want to try with another battery first? and possible with another charger as well?
