Lenovo y560 overheating

i have a lenovo y560 and it started overheating and i put new thermal paste on but now my gpu is overheating and hitting temps over 200F is there any way to fix this like adding more thermal paste? it did have thermal pads on it before i put thermal paste on it

Try first with a replacement thermal pad

is there any thermal pads you recomend? i found that 3M makes them but they make 2 different ones

Tricky. I'd check eBay for reference on the thermal pads. They do come in different thickness.

The other choice is to use a copper shim + thermal paste - works just as good, if not better
