probably a known brand and right after that comes the price.

I prefer to build my own, but lately I usually end up with a branded system.

While I'm not shopping for any SSDs at the moment, my main concerns are (a) reliability, (b) price/GB, (c) speed-- in that order.

1. I do not currently own a SSD. I would consider buying Intel, OCZ or Kingston.

2. Reliability would have to be the number one consideration in my decision.

3. I build my own computers. My current computer was built over 3 years ago, but is continually updated.

4. I prefer to build my own to get it exactly to my specifications.

5. I believe that next to RAM, SSD is the next most important in computer speed.

Yes, I own an Intel x25-M. Considering Intel, Samsung, OCZ

I build my own. Always.

Extremely important. I think we'll soon transition to using pure ssds for regular desktops/laptops, and use a separate NAS box/cloud for data like I do.

4. I have been buying new computers the last several years (laptops) as those are harder to build yourself. Before that I built my own desktops for 8 years.

5. I think SSD performance is pretty important, especially in a laptop.

Yes, and intel 160GB G2 and an intel 240gb 520 on the way :P. I may get another one for dad, definitely intel.

SSD makes the biggest change to any pc. i would choose this over a faster cpu if money was limited.

1-2 years in the past.  May slow down as most are dual or quad core now.

Generally build desktops, prefer IBM/Lenovo laptops

Sadly I've only visited Canada twice, once for the Montreal Expo and once for Quebec Winter Carnival.  oops, may have dated self there.  110+(15/5)-4 is 109 in the USA, however.

Yes, I own an older Intel unit. Yes, I plan on purchasing one in the future. I am considering Intel, Crucual and OCZ primarily.
