I've got an Acer Aspire 570, only purchased the thing five months ago. I planned on ripping my entire CD collection onto my laptop, as I did with my previous laptop(also an Acer-the 5920G), but have thus far had little success! Roughly 60% of my CD's fail to rip altogether, whilst some others that do rip, either rip to a certain point and then the disc drive makes a terrible noise and it stops ripping or it rips the entire disc but then upon play back of certain specific tracks, it becomes evident that it has not ripped properly!
...And there is nothing wrong with the discs themselves, I look after my CDs, they dont have any major scratches and work perfectly on my hifi, playstation and indeed on my mothers laptop.
Please help!!
