Ok, I am trying to fix my friend's laptop here is the problem:
Everything is fine except he can't connect to the internet. His connection is fine and everything is connected.
The problem I think lies in this :
In his device manager the ethernet controller, audio controller etc etc about 8 of them are properly not working and could not be found by windows. (the drivers could not be found) - this is very weird as this was an instant type of deal one day it worked perfectly next day it didn't
So I tried to reinstall win xp home and thought that would help didn't help anything...? He has blue tooth and I couldn't manage to get the linksys connection going...?
I also tried to just throw the modem in via usb but it didn't find drivers for it as well
Let me know what you guys think I appreciate every useful response - thanks in advance.

B90-210015-04 (that might be a serial # so just possibly disregard that I guess)
