I'd like to order a 6 cell battery and I can use the 9 cell as a back up for when I need the a lot of power when unplugged. I don't want to spend $140 to order a brand new from Dell and noticed that many of the off brand ones I found on Amazon are a fraction of the price.
Now I don't really know batteries and what makes one better than the other and am hoping to get some advice on this.
The key differences between the Dell one and the off brand one is the voltage and capacity. The Dell one has a voltage of 10.8V and capacity of 5200mAh while most of the off brand ones are 11.1 in voltage with a capacity of 4400mAh.
I think the capacity difference is obvious but can someone breakdown what the difference of 800mAh means and also the difference in voltage?
Thanks in advance!
