Presario CQ61 wont start up

Hi Everyone

I think my Presario is toast. It started 2 weeks ago when it did not come out of suspend mode. The lights came on but no screen, had to do several restarts to get it to boot. Two days ago I had it running (after about 20 restarts) and it shut down by itself after about 5 minutes. Now it shuts off right away.
I reseated the memory, tried a different hard drive, same thing. My suspicion is the motherboard may be toast.

Anybody have any thoughts or suggestions on this problem.

Have you tried taking the machine apart, cleaning it up and applying new thermal paste?

So you think its the motherboard or the CPU. If I had another CPU I would have tried swapping it already.

Thanks
