Use these 2 links as reference. You might need to take the borken jack out and see if you can get the part number from it

Yeah I tried to order but I  dont want 30 of them, I did order from the first. I had to order 2 becauuse it has to be over $3. Came to about $4 and peennys, Now IO just got to wait in the meantime I have cleaned the board and removed the broken jake. I was thinking of removing the microphone jack and using it as the headphone jack, but It would be a pain to remove and probably end up breaking it. Ill just wait to see if the paart I ordered will  fit.

Thanks for your help . Ill let you know how things go.

got two audio jacks dilivered today so I will attempt to install tomoorw, I have also noticed that the motherboard for the CQ56 is the same as the cq62, but the cq62 has an hdmi and a media card reader. Out of curiosity I checked my motherboard and noticed that my CQ56 motherboard has the pcb pins. What I am wondering is if I can get an memory card reader and an hdmi connector and sodler them on if it will work. I have found a duaghterboard with the same memory card reader , I ordered it and will rip it off the daughterboard and attempt to install it on my cq56. I cannot find a sutible hdmi connector though. The connector I need is a right angle ,type a , 19 pin, with two rows, one row has 10 pins and the second 9 pins. The closesethdmi connector i coud find was a two row but the 10 pin row and the 9 pin row are reversed. On the pcb the 10 pin row is closest to the edge of the board but on the connector the 10 pin row is on the back of the connector. If I attempted to connect it on to the board the front of the connector will not face the edge. I need a connec tor with the 10 pin connector on the front.here are some pics.

Sorry guys forgot to add pics, The first pic is the pinout on my Cq56 mobo, notice the row with ten pins is closer to the edge. The 1st blueprint is the connectors i kept finding which would not work because the 1st row has 9 pins closer to the edge. UPDATE fpound one that might work, the pins seem to be the same, only issue might be the anchors; I only see 1 anchor on each side for a total of two on my board, but the connector has 2 on each side for a total of 4. If any one know of an hdmi that might be more sutable please let me know.

We probably talk about Type A and Type C HDMI connectors. The Type A is 19 pins, so is the Type C but with a smaller connector head.

Want to give these people a shout and see if they can get you something?

hard to say Carlos. A and C are pretty much the same as far as pins concern, just the size though. Sorry I don't have enough info to confirm this for you

Hi everyone , I had to wait a bit before I attempted to repair the audio jack on my cq56, but I finally got around to it, First of all the replacement jack I ordered from pchub..com was not exactly the same as the jack originally on the pcb. the pins were reversed and the thickness was shorter, I will show you in pics. Also the anchors were in the wrong place so what I did was just remove the metal sheild/housing and will not use the anchors. If I tried to solder the jack in the same oriantation as the original the pins would not matach up.The jack has 6 pins in total, with 5 verical and 1 horizontal, there are 3 vertical, then 1 horizontal, and then 2 vertical again. The only way to make it fit was to flip the replacemnt audio jack upside down, now the pins lineup. Once soldered on the replacement audio jack was pretty sturdy, I thought I messed up because 2 pins seemed to be soldered togheter and no matter what I did I could not remove the solder. But I put everything back together and to my surprise everything worked. I got headphone jack working again.  If you look on the final picture you can see that the replacemnt jack is a little more recessed then the original but it has no affect on sound. So if anyone has a problem with the audio jack breeaking and you know how to use a soldering iron just order the jack in post 3 and solder it on. If anyone wants to attempt this and need any questions answered let me know.

BTW. Still have not received the sd card reader I am going to attempt to solder on to the cq56. When I do I will post an update and let you know how it went.

As for hdmi still have not found a suitable hdmi jack.
