An Idea for the Notebook Cooling Pad

Thread Starter

Hi everyone,

I am newbie here.

In my opinion, the current available notebook cooler (cooling pad) in the market that uses the USB plug is a wasted.

You know that we need the cooling pad for cooling the notebook temperature down so that we can use the notebook a little longer rather than auto shutdown due to overheating.

But the notebook cooling pad that available in the market today is uses the USB as the plug, most of them.

It makes the notebook works even harder.

Is there available any notebook cooling pad that uses below electric plug rather than the USB plug?

Cheers

The point of using USB to power a cooling fan is that it's as portable as the system if you want to use it on battery power. Requiring a cooling pad to be plugged into an external outlet limits the mobility.

Using notebook cooler pads is an oxymoron smile.gif

Notebooks that heat up too much should not be sold, period. Expecting notebooks to perform beyond what they can do yet to be cool has a long way yet to go in the design, software development and consumers mentality - an impossible task winknudge.gif

Venting all that out, the best cooling device would be something like a snap-on cooling unit designed to fit each model snugly on the bottom, running on their own battery powered source. Any business entrepreneur out there?

cheers ...
