Fujitsu Siemens Amilo 2530 unlock Hidden Bios Features

Hi,

 

Is there anyone who has managed to unlock Amilo 2530 Advanced Bios featuresyeahthat.gif?

 

I need to unlock the Advanced features and also to unlock the bios to allow an overclock of the CPU.A tutorial would be nice or an already  modded Bios would be even better.

 

The thing is that the BIOS is locked to avoid any OC'ing and I want that outbanned.gif

There must be a good reason why Fujitsu does not want users to overclock using their BIOS winknudge.gif

Why don't you try OC-ing with software instead and see if the whole comp can handle the heat and stability etc ..

Thanks for the quick reply appreciate it, I can't seem to overclock using software that's why I wanted to unlock the BIOS in the first place.Any ideas?

Just a suggestion here if you want to push - Alienware and Fujitsu share the same BIOS on a few models, you need to dig up deep for this.

Saying all that, the Fujitsu model you have is one heck of a machine, why taking the chance to ruin it? winknudge.gif

lol i'm back... after doing alot of searching I still haven't found the right Alienware bios for the Amilo Pi 2530.Anyone know which BIOS is compatible with it?Will a be able to OC the T5250 core2duo that is in it?

I found out that the Amilo xi2528 BIOS is compatible with it ,so, maybe there is an Alienware BIOS compatible with that?

 

I have this compulsive urge to get the best outta my system since its pretty outdated hope it makes some sense to i5 and i7 users ^^.

aww snap forgot to mention it has a P55 chassis with a PM965 chipset and a HD2300 Video card, taking this into account there is bound to be a compatible BIOS  that i'm not aware of Angel.gif.I found its PLL hoping setfsb could work its magic on it once I have an unlocked BIOS.banned.gif

OK thanks for the heads up, better safe than sorry.I think i will skip the OC for a while.Probably till I get an overclockable extreme CPU.
