New Laptop help!

Hey Guys

 

Sorry to be a rookie, but i am looking for advice, I have purchased an HP Envy 14 Dr Dre Beats Addition.... it has windows 7 but thats pretty much alls i know, again i am a rookie, the laptop looked very stylish and also very compact, but have I bought a good laptop? i.e the speed, memory etc.... again i am a rookie and just want to know if its a dud or a decent laptop? i will only be using it for downloading music, watching films, and some excel and word documents, and most likly other items once i know how good it is like gaming depending if the graphics card is ok?
