Hello all!

CONTEST UPDATE: Due to some initial confusion, we are extending week one until August 29th! If you haven't already answered the Week 1 question below, feel free to enter by EOD next Tuesday for your chance to win. Week 2's scavenger hunt question will be revealed on Wednesday, August 29th.

We're excited to announce that we've once again partnered with Intel to bring you a great chance to win some gear, and this time, we're doing it with a twist!

This contest is going to be a scavenger hunt - each week for the next 4 weeks, this post will feature a question relating to Intel's SSD offerings. The answer to the question can be found on Intel's website (we'll provide a few helpful links to guide you in the right direction). When you find the answer to the question, don't post it here! PM your answer to the user Intel Contest with the following format:

Subject: NBF USERNAME ONLY – NO ADDITIONAL TEXT
Body: Answer to the question. Since you will be sending 4 PMs in total, please send each new message as a reply to your previous message. You must send one answer each week to be eligible to win - sending all the answers at the end of the contest won't count!

Here are some helpful links to get you started on your Intel journey:

http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/solid-state-drives/solid-state-drives-330-series.html

The final, fourth question, for which your answers are due by midnight EST on September 20th, is the following:
Quote:
Warranty: Did Intel conduct a recent price change for lower cost and higher value options for Intel Solid-State Drives? True or False

This contest is for US residents only. Full Terms & Conditions.

At the end of the contest, we'll select 3 qualifying members to receive a 120gb, 520 Series SSD from Intel. "Qualifying" is to mean that you've submitted a correct answer to each week's question during the week that question was active, and at no point did you post any of the answers in this thread. Due to the volume of PMs, please do not expect any response PMs from 'Intel Contest' until after the scavenger hunt has ended.

Good luck and happy hunting! thumbup.gif

Interesting first question, is it really asking for the specs of the drive, or for the specs of the SATA 6Gb/s standard?

I hope they combine it ... the p.m. ding is quite confusing and a pain in the derrière for many users.

Hello - just a reminder that you must enter by PM in order to not help your competition by revealing the answers! If you've posted answers here, please PM 'Intel Contest' before we release the next question in a few days.
