possible to change Acer 4820T LCD screen with an IPS display (like MBP)?

as above - is there any way that I can upgrade the default 4820T's 14" display to a better quality one? I understand that the MBP only offers 13.3" and 15" variants, hence i'm looking for other possible sources that would sell such high quality components.

 

If anyone is aware, please drop a note here!

In-Plane Switching (IPS) is very much Apple "niche" at the moment, I don't believe that you can even install the unit outside OS X and iOS. Firmware and software and driver play a big part here - can't swap apples with oranges winknudge.gif

As far as replacing the Acer unit with better screen there is not much of a choice besides resolution.
