. PXE is a method of booting an operating system over a network. A PXE ROM is a chip on a network interface card that allows the BIOS to select the card as a boot device and boot over the network.

You can also upload / attach a screen shot from your BIOS screen(s) here and we can try to explain the entries. Other than that all items explanation are available on Wiki and the net

Above the reply windows there is a "image" icon. Click on that and choose the file from somewhere on your comp. Just follow the instruction smile.gif

I guess you mean UEFI boot instead of "UEFT". UEFI[Unified Extensible Firmware Interface] Boot  is when you boot you machine by its own platform installed operating system, and the PXE [Peer Exchange] is used when you boot your machine in the nework where the booting sequence is present.

Hope it helps.

Do you mean like a usb flash drive ? I have a OS Rescue on a flash drive . I use it on my other laptops but I am able to set that to boot first in the bios . I believe some how I could also do so with this new laptop ? Thanks

The screen shots are straight forward, standard entries. You can get all available info on the net. As mentioned before you don't need UEFI and PXE Rom boot enabled since you are not using it. If you want to access the OS rescue flash drive, you should be able just to plug that in the USB port and start the comp up
