Help! inspiron 6400 with lines on screen. Is this a graphics card issue? - Page 2

the baking thing worked for me also.. but i did it a lil differently..

 

i dont own a microwave oven nor do i own hot air blower..

 

i saw a youtube video where a guy gets his gfx working by ironing on it (one we use for ironing our clothes :P)

 

so i thought wth.. lets try it,, i did it for something like 15-20 mins..

 

and then let it cooled down.. plugged it in and wallah.. it was working :D

 

i hope it may last 2 3 months.. after that i am going to buy a new pc :|

Easy on the starch faiz0210. I used a propane torch once but it sadly only lasted a month. As for mine its still going strong.

unfortunately i didnt had the presence of mind to take the pics at that time.. 

 

but next time if something like this happens again.. i am sure that would be the first thing i would do :D
