Rebuilding my notebooks battery pack

I have a dearly beloved Compaq Evo N610c. People are constantly asking me why I don't buy a new one, but it does everything I need. I use it to check emails, surf the web, listen to music, etc - nothing really taxing. My only wish is that it had a better battery. The battery only holds a charge now for about 20 minutes.

I has a 4200 or 44oo mah battery now. I have seen third party sellers offering a 5200 mah battery but I have been burnt before with these kinds of shops. Is there any way of rebuilding this battery, especially to have 5200 or more mah?

Sure you can rebuild the battery cells - search the net for it. Though I would not recommend doing it just for simple reason that anything can go wrong.

Staying with OEM parts is the best solution for replacing battery. I understand and sympathize with the lack of performance, but batteries do improve with newer notebook models.

cheers ...
