Screen flickering white with lines

Dell 1520 screen flickering white with lines but stops when i twist the lcd slightly. I have checked the cable but couldn't get it to stop flickering on a specific connection. When i use a external monitor everything works perfect no flickering at all. This is probably either a bad LCD screen or a monitor cable. I don't think this is a inverter or a graphics card issue. I am here for some advice on this issue. Ask me a question or let me know what you think. Thanks in advance.

I would go with the cable replacement first

can the cable still be the problem even if i have wiggled every part of the cable and it didn't make it better or worse. Also what's the chance its the inverter. So maybe i buy a cable then if that's not it then it's got to be the screen. Do you agree?

What you want to try, be careful, it to take the screen unit a part, bezel and all. Lay them flat on a non-conductive surface, cable still connected. Turn the system on and wiggle the cable part and screen and see where the problem is

This is what i have done but could not get any result. The screen just seems to go in and out with static white with no change but then if i twist the screen only (screen detached) it clears up completely but is to difficult to hold the perfect pressure on each corner so it goes back to static white in pulses. Also there is a very light buzzing noise coming from the bottom of the lcd screen. Either the screen or the inverter but it is very light buzzing. Only thing it could be is the screen, inverter or lcd ribbon cable. I'm almost certain it's not bios or driver's. So out of the three i listed what do you suggest could be the culprit. I am leaning on that it's the screen but i value your suggestion and why or why not any of the other two i listed. Even if i get a positive on the screen i will definitely replace the cable and the inverter before i replace the screen just to be safe.
