Need reviews on LG A520-D.AE50A2 Laptop .. Looking for good laptop in 55k range

I am looking for a very good value for money laptop in around 55k range. I looked at LG A520-D.AE50A2 Laptop and it has 3d feature with full HD, 1gb graphics card and an i5 processor. Looks like a decent combination.

 

I have decent gaming requirements, mainly use for movies, browsing and converting video formats (I need good speed to convert fast).

 

Please let me know if this is a good buy or if you know some other good laptops in this range.

55k is about 1000$. Its a 2nd generation i5 processor. Is there big difference b/w 2nd gen and 3rd gen.

 

Or any other good suggestion ?

I am not sure about the (big) difference(s) other than the ability to turbo boost and running cooler (?).

It all depends on what you want to do with the comp. You are paying for the dedicated GPU and good resolution on the linked model - and for that it is a good price.
