Asus Zenbook Prime UX31a-ab71 SSD?

Thread Starter

Hello everyone,

First post on this forum. I have a quick question about the SSD's that come with this model of the Zenbook Prime. I know that for the db51 you can get a mix of the Sandisk and the ADATA SSD and that it's a random lottery as to which one you get until you open the box. I just ordered the ab-71 (i7 128gb SSD) from Amazon and sadly received the Sandisk SSD as well. I would obviously prefer the ADATA one because of the better performance.

So my question is, does anyone who also bought the ab-71 model actually have one with the Adata drive? and will I really see the difference in performance between these two SSD's in everyday usage? (Web surfing movies and gaming)?

Thanks.

I don't have a Zenbook so can't tell ya smile.gif But Welcome to NBF.

Regarding to everyday performance between different SSD brands, I personally don't see noticeable gains or no gain

cheers ...
