What notebook / laptop if I prioritize the following 4 things..?

What cheap notebook/laptop would you recommend if I prioritize the following 4 things:

- Screen-resolution of at least 1920 x 1200
- Non-glossy surface on the monitor
- Pointingstick ( = a tiny "joystick" at the middle of the keyboard. This is an absolute must!)
- My budget is at $ 1000:-

Other:
- Screen should not be larger than 15.6"
- I do not want a HP-laptop.

Is there anything out there matching the above?

If you want the little red dot thingy, Lenovo is the only way to go.

In another post you mentioned that you do some 3D work. If that's the case with this purchase, you may perfer to get a T Series (discrete graphics). For 15.6" and some graphics power, T530 would be the choose.

If no computation-heavy work is planned, there are a few cheaper options avaiable.

More brands than Lenovo do have the pointing-stick, although they may indeed not be red ;-)
That being said, the T530 seems to be a good recommendation. Cool of you to even find out that I do 3D-work which is correct.
The sad thing about Lenovo is that they can't be shipped to Sweden through their website. They have resellers of course, but then I can't use the great customization-wizard on Lenovo's website.

Thanks for the tip! :-)
