for examble this mini PCIe card has both

wifi also BT

http://www.amazon.de/dp/B0042RMV5E/?tag=hydra0d-21&hvadid=11134020058&hvpos=1o2&hvexid=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=48992050638357666&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&ref=asc_df_B0042RMV5E

and do not waste slots for a usb BT dongle or the other mini PCIe slot for a BT mini PCIe card

the IConia has two mini PCIe slots

your wifi mini PCIe Card does not have BT?

so change it with a wifi card + BT (like the one i posted above!

SSD HD

or

Nvidia GPU

Muahahaha....let´s turn this into a beast!!! nVidia GPU, a Quad-core processor and we´re allmost done. By the way, I´ve tested it with a 2x8Gb Kingston DDR3 from my friends Dell and guess what...nope, it doesn´t......just kidding!!! IT´S WORKING. So even though they say it only takes 8Gb DDR3 inside, it works perfect with 16Gb. Could we possibly ask for more? In a future, mine will surely have, first the GPU, then a SSD and a 16Gb DDR3. Cobra, keep up the good work.

BY THE WAY: why don´t we discuss here the windows8 issues. I got mine up and running but let´s see if we can solve the few issues it gets in Win 8 like the lack of Gestures for navigation, the absence of the interior aplications of the Acer Ring (web clip, gesture editor, device control, etc)-the ring only shows the thumbnails outside and comes up empty on the inside; or the lack of the XT9 dictionary. Many people have problems in Windows 8 and I´ve been solving part of them but there are still a few I can´t.
Cheers.

Nvidia GPU is physicaly imposible, maybe using this

And / or this?

with this

Quad core CPU... you will need to change the main board. Cobra, are you designing a new one? contacting with Compal maybe? I really need to know this if you want my 20 bucks dude.gif

I looked at it too. Let´s see what Cobra has for us. I only care for the GPU right now and later we shall see. He told me something about a good processor I don´t recall right now-not a quad-core- it´s just a manor of speaking; he said it would be the best and the highest that fits in.

Enlighten us Cobra. What are you planning?whats the GPU and what processor have you told me that would be the proper one?
Cheers.

Bonjour (from Paris - France).
Hi Everyone,
I have also have that invisible man fidling my Iconia upper screen. Acer people in France pretendi they never heard about it and told me to reinstall the original setting.
I'll try Cobra's solution.
@ : Cobra, I'l be mailing/paypaling you. Start preparing your best pedagogical explanation, I'm really not good in all that (specially if it has to be in English...).
A bientôt

You donate money not for manual, you donate it for my support and my knowledge!

I am not studing mechanical engineering for FUN

and this Ghost Toches Issue, also Win8 Issue is also not a FUN to get rid of it

@mortzy

the acer iconia is only working with 4GB of RAM for each slot! Even if you have more inside, he won´t use it!

look at the site from crucial! good explained there! The reason is the i5 480m cpu which is only supporting max 8GB

look here:
