My current Satellite has served me well, but can't really handle HD video editing.
I've had my eyes set on a Qosmio ever since they came out.
Checked out new Egg and untill recently, they had an X875 3D model (now discontinued)
Intel Core i7-3610QM 2.3GHz
16GB Memory 1TB + 750GB HDD
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 670M
Blu-Ray Burner
For ~$1750
In the past, I've always ordered directly from Toshiba built to my specs, so I headed over to their site and spoke with one of their reps on the chat box.
Apparently, the Qosmio X870 series they sell does not have a 3D screen, only the standard screen.
The rep wouldn't get into details, but is there a reason why the 3D screens are now discontinued?
I could still get a 3D model on Amazon, but not built to my specs.
I have yet to see it in person, but how does the 3D screen compare to the standard screen?
Rick
